After a quick rain shower last night, I ran outside just in time to be privy to the most gorgeous sunset sky.

Then this morning, off to get some NY style bagels (and they truly were!). The owner of these Brooklyn bagels was a fireman in NYC who was one of the first-responders on 9/11. After developing some breathing problems, he came down to warmer weather and decided to create The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. and what terrific bagels they were! I guess the 14-step water filtration system he developed works great! Here are some pics, have a great day everyone!

Target First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum

Tonight is an event not to be missed at the Brooklyn Museum!

Every first Saturday of the month, the Brooklyn Museum will feature free programs of art and entertainment from 5 PM till 11 PM and this evening will present the works of two of my favorite artists.

Over 150 amazing designs created by the internationally recognized NYC artist,

Keith Haring [1958-1990] will be featured tonight.

Then, starting at 8 PM, my good friend, legendary DJ Junior Vasquez (who was very close to Keith) will spin a tribute to 1970s and ’80s New York.  This will be an evening to remember! Have a great night, and if you can, swing by the Brooklyn Museum!
