I can’t deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me! – Sally Field, 1985
You really, really like me! (Thank you!!!) –martinisandbonbons, 2012
Friday evening’s commute proved as very exciting to say the least! At first, I couldn’t believe my eyes and didn’t think it was for real!Checked my emails and was completely stunned and so excited to see that one of my readers (thank you Ellzey!) nominated martinisandbonbons for the Liebster Blog Award! (In fact, it nearly made me forget to get on the arriving subway!)
I mean, I’ve never won an award before! Then I thought, ‘well, heck… and why NOT believe that a wonderful, positive thing presents itself to you through the kindness of others ..for doing something that you enjoy?’
And that was that – I merrily skipped along the rest of the way home and gushed to everyone I knew over the rest of the weekend that I was an blog-award nominated recipient.
Gotta have F-A-I-T-H !!!!! 🙂
Now it’s my turn to nominate some of my favorite blogs – I’m not sure about the number of followers each has, but they are well worth your time to check out!
And of course, a big thank you again to Ellzey’s Life, Leadership and Faith !
“The origins of the Liebster Blog award are somewhat unclear but the general consensus is that it originated in Germany, Liebster meaning favorite or dearest, to showcase bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. Upon accepting the award the recipient must then pass it on to five more blogs of note.”
Here are the rules:
- Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
- Link back to the blogger who presented the award to you.
- Copy and paste the blog award on your blog.
- Present the Liebster Blog Award to 5 blogs of 200 followers or less who you feel deserve to be noticed.
- Let them know they have been chosen by leaving a comment at their blog.
